Meet Our Assistant Director Hillary Fisher....

For the past year, I have had the privilege and honor to work with an amazing woman, Hillary Fisher. Hillary has become both my confident and friend. She assists this gallery in smooth transitions from exhibit to exhibit and helps balance the budget. Hillary can write up a PO, while patching a whole in the wall from the top of a ladder! (OK, I exaggerate about the ladder thing, but she is a superstar) Without Hillary, this gallery would not be the wonderful cultural institution it is. Hillary is working on a wonderful educational seminar on social media networking to apply to the entire Jewish Community Center. Recently, Hillary was interviewed for a Blog on the Jewish Arts...follow this link to see her answers!

Opening Day!

Picture this, the sun is shining in Detroit as our next exhibit opens. Today was a wonderful day. Everyone who came to this exhibit was blown away by it! The Haggadahs are unbelieveable, there are old ones, new ones, children's, replicas and so much more. The illustrations depicting the Red Sea, The Four Sons, Next Year in Jerusalem, Chad Gadya, were all so interesting! This really is a must see exhibit! The Gallery is open Sunday 12 - 4

Monday - Wednesday 10 - 5 and Thursday 10 -7. Call us in advance for a docent tour.
